Feedback
Being able to effectively make use of feedback is closely linked to academic success at university.
Thinking specifically about the Academic Skills course, the content of our discussions this week will be vital to your thinking around both of your assessments for this course. Our emphasis will be upon encouraging you to see feedback as a strategy for improving your learning and performance, rather than a judgement on your ability. For this topic, we will make only limited use of additional online materials (below), on the basis that you will most likely want to spend your time outside of class thinking about how the different ideas and resources you find can be applied to your Individual Writing Assessment. |
Academics and Tutors from different subjects and universities share their thoughts and experiences of feedback at university.
