Video summaries on media hopper...

As we will learn on Wednesday, there is more than one way to gain feedback on your work and to learn from others (your peers) in your class. One way we are exploring on the course to do this is, is creating short clips of what you have learnt so far, By doing this, it is an opportunity to stop and reflect and a chance to gain a different perspective and learn from others.

This is the reason for the Media Hopper Academic Skills Channel!

As explained at the end of the day last week, we are expecting:

  • short videos (10-30 secs long) from everyone in Student Tutor groups: Calum, Holly and Nicola
  • to be completed by Wednesday 15 June
  • you can film individually, or in small groups
  • to answer this question - 'what is the one thing you learnt in week 1 of Academic Skills?'

You can access Media Hopper here, and see the 'how to' guide here.

Remember: the channel is private, so only the class can view what we produce. There is no risk of others seeing this (unless you want to share it with them!) Everything is moderated - I will only share videos where I am happy with the quality.

Any questions or problems uploading, please contact me.

Looking forward to seeing your work!
